Over the weekend, a Hanover Park High School family, the Ott's, had their home devastated by a house fire. Thankfully all are safe. Needless to say, they have lost essentials and will need support over the next coming days and months to get back on their feet. To assist, our district is sponsoring a gift card drive for the family. Currently, they need to replace clothes, shoes, and a lot of daily essentials. Any support will be greatly appreciated. Please see the attached flyer for information on how to help.

CHARACTER.ORG RECOGNIZES HANOVER PARK REGIONAL HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT AS A NEW JERSEY DISTRICT OF CHARACTER
We are happy to announce that Character.org, a national advocate and leader for character, has designated 73 State-level Schools of Character and 2 Districts of Character for 2023 with the Hanover Park Regional High School District being designated as one of two State Districts of Character for 2023. The review team evaluated 197 applications from New Jersey schools and
districts. Congratulations to the students and staff on this tremendous achievement!
Any student or parent that ordered David's cookie dough through the Class of 2024, must pick up orders after school this Thursday, February 2nd from 2:45-3:30 in the cafeteria. All orders must be picked up as the cookies are frozen.
Scheduling for the 2023-2024 school year will begin on Tuesday, January 17 with the 9th grade and will be followed by the 10th and 11th grades. See the links for the information.

Cheer for a Cure Showcase was a huge success last night!! This was a community wide event that included WP Cheer teams, HP Cheer teams, and both Hanover Township, East Hanover/Florham Park Youth Cheerleading Programs! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this great cause!!!!

Congratulations to Whippany Park High School's Superintendent Maria Carrell for receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the East Hanover Italian American Club. Mrs. Carrell was honored at a banquet on Friday night and during yesterday's Morris County Columbus Day Parade in East Hanover.
