Dear Hanover Park Regional High School District Community, Today, we welcomed our freshmen onto our campuses and are excited to welcome back our entire school community tomorrow, September 7, 2023. Due to the extreme heat, classroom temperatures, and the lack of air conditioning throughout the majority of our buildings, the Hanover Park Regional High School District will operate on a short day bell schedule for tomorrow, Thursday, September 7, 2023. Hanover Park High School will dismiss at 12:18 p.m. and Whippany Park High School will dismiss at 12:43 p.m. No lunch will be served. At this time, all after school athletic activities will run on a modified schedule. Our athletic directors, athletic trainers and coaching staff will continue to monitor heat and humidity levels on the fields to ensure safe play for our student athletes. We will continue to monitor indoor and outdoor temperatures and will alert you if additional schedule modifications are required for Friday. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. Sincerely, Maria Carrell, Superintendent of Schools

Dear Whippany Park Community: In order to accommodate the roofing construction taking place at Whippany Park this summer, we ask that you please review the following safety precautions that will be in place until the work has concluded: There will be no access to the student parking lot or the front circle of the school beginning at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023. These areas will be reopened for student and visitor access when the roofing construction is complete. All visitors must park in the faculty parking lot that is adjacent to Whippany Road. Visitors will have walking access to the main entrance of the school in order to enter the school building. The only access to the building will be through the main entrance of the school. All students participating in athletic activities on our fields are to be dropped off / park in the faculty lot. They may then walk along the path on the back side of the building to access the fields. We thank you for your patience and understanding as these precautions will be in place to ensure a safe environment for all those involved. If you have any questions, please contact our main office at 973-887-3004.
